The Huron Hockey & Skating Association (HHSA) will once again open its doors for the 2009-2010 skating season.  Our association offers figure skating, developmental, youth and adult hockey programs as well as public skating.  All hockey programs are enrolled with USA Hockey; a program which entitles teams and spectators from other areas to interact with our town and compete at the arena.  Our figure skating basic skills program is affiliated and designed by the United States Figure Skating Association with an annual ice show highlighting local and statewide talent.  Last year’s enrollment brought over 400 individuals (both children and adults) to these programs mentioned above.  Thanks to numerous volunteers, support from our members and business donations, our non-profit organization has built and maintained this enclosed Ice Arena since 1999.

As in previous years, we would like to offer you the opportunity to advertise your business!  We have added new options this year to allow more exposure, more often!

            Option 1 ~ The Hat Trick ~ 1 Year Commitment ~ $700

This commitment includes 1) your banner hung at the rink 2) rink dasher board

and 3) in rink TV advertisement and a business card size ad in HHSA program booklet

            Option 2 ~ The Shut Out ~ You Choose Commitment

A donation of $700 would display your business/logo on a banner throughout the operating season along with the newly added items included in the The Hat Trick.  The rink sees quite a bit of action especially during the weekend when games are scheduled with out of town teams.  We have seen visitors from Sault Ste Marie, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Livonia, Alpena, Bay City, Midland, Gladwin, and Saginaw.

Our emphasis is also given to local members to support those businesses

who support our rink – we couldn’t do it without you!!!

Thanks to contributions such as yours, we can keep the costs affordable to the surrounding areas which enables many children to participate in this very exciting winter activity.

The Hat Trick – All items listed below!  $700 yr.

Banners – Banners are created to your specification by a local business.  Logo and details are provided by you along with any message you may want to add.  The banner size is 4x8. $300 yr.

Dasher Boards – New for the 2009/2010 season, dasher boards are created to your specification by a local business.  Logo and details are provided by you along with any message you may want to add.  Board advertisement is created to your specification and is placed along the ice edge. $350 yr.

In Rink TV Advertisement – New for the 2009/2010 season, we will now have a closed circuit monitor which will display continuous advertising for local businesses.  Advertise your specials to draw the crowds to YOU between games, whether it’s to fill the gas tank, grab a bite to eat, shop for an upcoming birthday or buy that special gift – just because! $100 yr. (or $25 per month)

HHSA Program Booklet – New for the 2009/2010 season - We currently have 4 tournaments scheduled this year and could be adding more.  These booklets will be available for hand-out at all tournaments along with the ice show at the end of the season. $50 yr. (or $5.00 each spot)
