Huron Hockey and Skating Association is a volunteer organization
established in 1992 by a group of parents to provide wintertime
recreational opportunities to children and adults in and around the Iosco
County area of Northeast Michigan. HHSA is a tax exempt organization which relies on
contributions from individuals, area corporations and community
organizations to operate an ice
skating rink located in Tawas, Michigan.
Huron Hockey and Skating Association is affiliated with USA Hockey and offers several different programs:
We presently have 20 hockey teams in our youth league and 5 adult teams. We provide Hockey and Figure Skating for over 400 people and all of our programs are co-ed. We also provide Public Skating on Friday and Saturday evenings for a nominal fee. We own our own building and property near the Tawas Area High School on M-55.
Our support goes deep; we have many volunteers, which helps to make our programs successful:
Since we are a volunteer organization, we are always in need of people to assist in the running of the program. If you are interested in lending a hand, please contact us at:
